On the prelude to the eve of our trip to India, I am excited about the opportunity to explore another culture--business, religion and socially speaking. One of my colleagues whose family is from India originally has told me that India is a country of paradoxes--whether it is technology, affluence or even sense of time. This will be my first trip to India and my first experience in a country where the standard of living is dramatically lower than that which we enjoy in the US. I am looking forward to the opportunity to experience a world very different from our's in North Carolina. I also look forward to sharing my experiences on this blog. Spencer Hanes
